Obi art

Do you know the obi and kimono?

It is a traditional luxurious and hand embroidered costume from Japan.
The vintage obi has a decorated paulownia wood plate and is covered with a special acrylic case.
The glossy texture of the acrylic enhances the beauty of the obi.
The three dimentional artwork does not touch the acrylic as many do.
It goes well modern, classic, or any interior.

We always keep kimono in a Tansu made of paulownia in Japan.
We called it the Kiri Tansu. Luxury Kiri Tansu sells for $30,000 or more.
It has been handed down and has excellent fire resistance, insect resistance, and is air tight.
We use traditional Japanese natural paint called the tonoko for all of our Kiri Tansu. The color of the finish is natural cream.
It is very beautiful.

All of our cases are UV protected and will protect the cloth from dust.
